 #when you think about it this is an amazing subversion #how many fans wanted dean and co. to ride into the grand finale in the impala? #but when the driver is revealed it isn’t dean or anyone on team free will #it’s meg #the demon antagonist from season 1 #dean hardly lets anyone drive the impala #it’s such a symbol of who he is #but he lets meg drive it #pretending to be him #she’s pretending to be a hero to give her the chance to save the world #remember season 1 when she was the big bad’s associate? #a villain? #irredeemable and evil? #now she’s fucking up the canon #she’s saving the world #MEG HAS OFFICIALLY JOINED TEAM FREE WILL #meg and dean are more alike than they would admit #they both make obscure references for no reason #they both love using symbolism to their advantage #they’re both morally grey #dean comes from hell #maybe he understands meg more than he did #realises that he could have become her #maybe now that she wants to save the world from evil #(like him) #he realises that she isn’t so different from him #having anyone on your team is better than no one #so she has the job of starting the attack on dick
